Live Shows

          Welcome to Bob's Gigs page!  You can find information here about Bob Cage's many previous gigs and shows.   We celebrate Bob's Band and Solo performances as well as other public appearances but they have sadly come to an end.  We hope Bob Cage did get to play somewhere near you, during his life, so you could enjoy his wonderful musical talent.

          If you haven't heard his music yet, click here to go to his music page, where we will have a collection of his recorded work.

          Thanks again for supporting Bob's music!

We celebrate and remember Bob's many performances from just a couple of years ago, with these notable appearances.

Bob performed on July 1st at Keegan Ale House, Saint James Street, Kingston.

Bob was also seen with Henry Street Hot Club at various venues in the Hudson Valley area.

He also played many solo gigs both locally and regionally, and occasonally appeared with other top players including both local greats and well-known performers.

Bob played in Rhinecliff at China Rose Restaurant June 10th, and at the Kingston Farmer's Market on June 25th.

You could have also seen him perform at the Rhinebeck Aerodrome.

All of the above dates are for the Summer of 2016.

Though he played many more times after that, in a variety of local and regional venues, sadly he will play no more.  Bob passed away on September 22, 2018, and any future gigs will be beyond the pearly gates.  For old times sake, we re-cap some older gigs that were especially memorable.

On August 12, 2005, Bob and his band played as part of the Woodstock Guitar Festival at Joyous Lake in Woodstock.

Bob Cage performed with NiteFlite in Danbury, CT on September 11th, 2004 and warmed up for Badfinger as
the winners of a contest on I-95 Rock radio.

Bob performed solo jazz guitar at the Evergreen Chorus of Sweet Adelines Show, in 2003 at Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, NY;
where he and the other performers received a standing ovation.

Bob Cage appeared on Bob Miles, MILES OF MUSIC television program in both 2003 and 2006.   The programs turned out great!   Everybody had a lot of fun, and people were very impressed with Bob's skill on the guitar.   Go to for rerun dates and times.
